Refunds & Cancellations

Last Updated: October 7th, 2026

We want CourseCheetah to work for you, and if it doesn't because of something on our end, we'll make it right. What we don't do is refund a purchase because you changed your mind. Here's exactly where the line sits.

When we'll refund you

  • It's broken on our side. If CourseCheetah won't work for you because of a problem with our product, and our support team can't get it running, we'll refund you.
  • We billed you wrong. Double charges and billing mistakes get refunded in full.
  • You didn't make the charge. Once we've confirmed a payment wasn't authorized by you, we'll send it back. Parents: if your teen paid for CourseCheetah without your say-so, flag it on our support ticket page and we'll look into it.

When you won't

Outside those three cases, payments are final. That includes:

  • Changing your mind, even if you've barely used CourseCheetah.
  • Days or weeks left over on a plan you stopped using.
  • A renewal that went through because you didn't cancel before it was due.
  • Trouble that comes from your own device, connection, browser, or other software you've installed.
  • An account we closed because our Terms of Service were broken.

Cancelling your plan

Cancel whenever you want - from your dashboard, or by sending a ticket (see below). That stops your next renewal. You'll keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, but we don't refund part-used periods.

How to ask for a refund

Head to our support ticket page - it works without an account - and tell us:

  • the email address you checked out with,
  • the date and amount of the charge, and
  • what went wrong.

Can't get the page to load? Email [email protected] with the same details instead. You'll usually hear back within 2 business days. If we approve a refund, it goes back to the card or account you paid with, and normally shows up within 5-10 business days.

Thinking about a chargeback?

Talk to us first. Most billing problems are quicker to sort out with a ticket than through a bank dispute, and we'd much rather fix it with you directly.
